A Very Merry Bohn Christmas

Our first solo Christmas. We missed you all dreadfully, but I think we made out alright. Although we didn't wake up before noon, we still made sure to rummage up some oatmeal in before opening presents in front of a roaring fire (one at a time of course). We also managed to read The Lost Chord (at Becky Linford's on Christmas Eve) and sing a whole slew of Christmas songs (none in French though). We introduced some new traditions too... like bringing hoodies, gloves and ponchos to the homeless in D.C. It made for a nice end to a pretty good day.

So how did you all celebrate?

Grandpa's Credo

Hear only the call to do good, above all
Never set yourself up above other people
no matter where they come from,
be they weak and defenseless
or high standing and powerful,
be they poor and hungry
or rich and satisfied,
be they worthy of praise
or worthy of blame.
For we are all one in Christ and
equal before our Lord.
Only God with his all seeing eye
knows a person’s heart
and the full circumstances of his life.
Indeed, we are all the same before our Lord
and equally in need of his love,
his redemption and his atonement
